Lactic acid (LA) industry:
In Q1 2022, the EIA of BBCA Biotechnology's 180,000 t/a LA project was released; the EIA report of Shandong Tongbang's 300,000 t/a LA & 200,000 t/a PLA project was publicised firstly; the EIA of Keyuan Bio-Material's 200,000 t/a LA and 130,000 PLA project was publicised for a second time.
Jingliang Longjiang's 50,000 t/a LA project entered operation, and Ningxia Qiyu's 50,000 t/a LA project started trial run.
Jindan Technology's revenue and net profit in 2021, increased by 40.02% YoY and 10.94% YoY, respectively.
Citric acid industry:
The construction of RZBC Boyuan's project of 20,000 t/a calcium citrate and 1,000 t/a magnesium citrate was accepted.
Sodium gluconate (SG) industry:
The construction of Fuyang Biotech's 200,000 t/a SG project was examined and accepted; the EIAs of Dezhou Heyang's 200,000 t/a SG project and BBCA Biochemical's 50,000 t/a SG project were publicised.
In Q1 2022, the quarterly average ex-works prices of monohydrate citric acid reached USD2,333/t (RMB14,818/t), up 16.23% QoQ; the quarterly average ex-works prices of anhydrous citric acid landed on USD2,510 t/a (RMB15,943 t/a), up 15.66% QoQ.
