According to statistics of CCM, in June 2014, exports of China’s TiO2 manufacturers record high. However, affected by the downturn of downstream market, imports remain weak. In June, domestic sales of TiO2 still remain at low level and the transaction price of high titanium slag decreases again. It is disclosed that in June 2014, the development of clean production process and circular economic chain helps TiO2 industry struggle out of environmental predicament and improve economic benefits. While in downstream industry of TiO2, with the further promotion on pollution control of VOC, Guangdong will enforce the emission standard of VOC and waterborne coating as well as other environmental coating will be developed. What’s more, looking back to the whole TiO2 industry in China, since 2013, prices of TiO2 products witnessed declines. Under the market situation of weak demand, low capacity growth rate and decreasing output, TiO2 industry upgrades technologies to seek ways for development.
