Fungicides China Monthly Report

In terms of market analysis, in early July, the ex-works prices of China's fungicide were various compared to that in June.

In terms of company dynamics, the 300 t/a triadimefon, 100 t/a diniconazole TC, 300 t/a flusilazole TC and 100 t/a trifloxystrobin TC project of Jiangsu Jiannong have resumed production. Hunan Haili planned to construct the Ningxia- and Guixi-based production bases. Qingdao Hailir was expected to acquire 26% of the equity of Shaanxi Jinxinyi. Anhui Jiuyi has purchased equipment for its 5,000 t/a prothioconazole TC project.

In terms of policy, on 30 June, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the National Development and Reform Commission, jointly issued the Implementation Plan of Advancing Emission Reduction and Carbon Fixation in Agriculture and Rural Affairs, outlining specific measures oriented toward the planting industry, utilisation of chemical fertiliser, agricultural machinery, energy consumption, etc. On 1 July, the Liaoning Provincial Industry and Information Department issued the Management Method of the Identification of Chemical Park in Liaoning Province. On 30 June, the Sichuan Provincial Economic and Information Department, in collaboration with other six departments, unveiled 16 chemical parks approved (second batch).

In ternms of pests & diseases, in July, the corn pests and diseases enter a peak and are estimated to happen heavily in Anhui Province with an area of 19 million mu. In other regions there are also precautions for corn diseases and pests.
