In April 2026, driven by lithium carbonate, prices of several lithium battery materials rose. Energy storage battery demand became the main driving force in the downstream market. Anode material prices generally remained stable, with the price center moving slightly higher than the previous month but with limited increases.

Major market dynamics

On 28 April, 2026, Guangzhou Tinci Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (Tinci Materials) released its first quarter report for 2026, showing a net profit growth of over 1,000%.
On 16 April, 2026, Do-Fluoride New Materials Co., Ltd. released its 2025 annual report, showing operating revenue of USD1.37 billion (RMB9.43 billion), up 14.37% YoY.
On 2 April, 2026, Jiujiang Tinci Materials Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Tinci Materials, filed a civil lawsuit with the Guangdong High People's Court over alleged trade secret infringement.
