Project progress

• Luojiang Chenming's natural food additives production project (Phase I) passed acceptance check.

• The EI report for Tongliao Meihua's lysine to yeast hydrolysate technical renovation project was publicised.

Company dynamics

A total of 13 amino acid enterprises disclosed their H1 2026 results, among which eight recorded YoY declines in net profit. Adisseo's net profit rose YoY, whereas China Starch's lysine revenue, Fufeng Group's net profit and Global Bio-Chem's amino acid gross profit all moved downward, with the latter turning negative in H1 2026.

Price update

In September 2026, the monthly average prices of MHA-FA and solid methionine were lower than in August, with MoM declines of 21.85% and 15.68% respectively. 

Import and export

In August 2026, China's lysine ester and salt export volume, export value, and average export price all declined YoY.
