In terms of company and supply, the application of Zhongnongfa Seed for a private placement of A-shares was approved by the SSE; Lianchuang Seed secured a strategic financing of USD113.06 million (RMB800 million) as a cornerstone, rapidly achieving a strategic upgrade from a single corn seed company to a comprehensive seed industry platform by closely holding stakes in Longping Oil Crops, Qianji Gengyun, and Chuanhe Agriculture.

In terms of trade analysis,in Nov. China's import volume of seeds of soybean, corn and vegetables dropped by 22.78% MoM to 440.66 tonnes, while the export volume up by 109.77% MoM to 585.06 tonnes; China imported approximately 126.00 million tonnes of grain.

In terms of variety, Hubei released its 2025 approved list of major crop cultivars, including 54 rice, 49 corn, 15 wheat, 21 soybean and 3 cotton varieties.; Sichuan released its 2025 catalogue of approved major crop cultivars, which includes 141 corn, 43 rice, 21 soybean, and 5 wheat varieties.
