In Sept. 2016, as the G20 summit held in Zhejiang Province and Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival holiday came to an end, more and more herbicide TC enterprises resumed their production in East China. In the meantime, pesticide enterprises started to prepare for the off-season reserves markets of each pesticides. According to market feedbacks, some herbicide TC producers have gradually launch appointment with formulation processors and traders, and layout the business for off-season reserves market. As a whole, as of now, most of herbicide producers still suspend production for overhaul, and the market remains stable, with reducing inventories. In fact, after experiencing market depression for three quarters in 2016, a majority of enterprises expect that the market will embrace a rebound in Q4 2016.
As for policies, the number of banned herbicides is rising. Particularly, as the MOA strengthened the reassessment on registered pesticides, and improved the management measures on highly toxic and highly residual pesticides, the number of banned herbicides is bound to increase in the future.
