Insecticides China Monthly Report

Around Sept. 2014, China’s pesticide listed companies have released their semi-annual reports successively. At this time, CCM pays more attention to the semi-annual reports of Hunan Haili, Hebei Veyong, Jiangsu Changqing and JJJ. In general, these pesticide listed companies have made favourable performance in the first half of 2014, especially Hebei Veyong and JJJ. The left two companies are still not optimistic in some sessions. For example, Hunan Haili’s net profit in H1 2014 decreased by 8.01%; the gross profit margin of Jiangsu Changqing’s insecticide sales decreased by 1.36 percentage points year on year.

The semi-annual pesticide sales statistics also causes our reflection on the whole insecticide market and even the pesticide market in China:

1. The extension of sales channels. Traditional offline entities sales transforms to new operation pattern, relying on information network and combining with off lines and on lines.

2. The improvement of formulations, including the analysis of the developmental prospect of environmentally friendly formulations, represented by SC and WG.  

 3. The forecast on pests and diseases, including stricken situation forecast of pests and diseases and arrangement of missions and goals for prevention and control.

4. The trend of pesticide price and so on in the future and trend analysis of main insecticide price in Oct. 2014. Enterprises would make greater progress if they know the market trend and the latest information of competitors and make further improvement according to advantages of their own. CCM will follow up, report and analyze it in time.
