In 2014, demand for pesticides in the world remains strong, which is an opportunity for China's pesticide exports. Experts state that the domestic exports of pesticides will see a stable increase this year, with a growth rate of 16%. Especially, the volume of pesticides China exports to ASEAN countries is climbing with an annual rate of over 10%.
Notably, carbendazim, chlorothalonil, glyphosate, paraquat, abamectin, chlorpyrifos, acetochlor, atrazine, imidacloprid, acetamiprid, lambda-cyhalothrin will see an uptrend in exports. Also, insiders are optimistic about exports of small packaged pesticide formulations. With the changing structure of products for export in China, exports of pesticide formulations have increased rapidly since 2011. It reached 860,900 tonnes, up 14.22% YoY in 2012, and nearly 880,000 tonnes in 2013. It is predicted that the exports of pesticide formulations will rise by 10% YoY in 2014.
