Illegally adding recessive composition is still popular in domestic pesticide industry according to the result of the first pesticide sample examination of 2012 released on 30 Aug., 2012. 41 products were checked with recessive compositions, accounting for 29.08% of all the unqualified products. The unqualified rate of the products with recessive compositions surged compared with that in the latest national examination took place in 2011. According to result of the third pesticide sample examination of 2011 released on 16 Feb., 2012, the unqualified rate of the products with recessive compositions was 8.6%, far less than 29.08% this time. 
 

Among the 41 unqualified products added with recessive compositions, 12 of them contain highly toxic pesticides such as terbufos (added into four unqualified products), phorate (three) and carbofuran (three). Other famous products, such as chlorantraniliprole, thiram, acetamiprid cypermethrin, etc. were also checked used as recessive compositions in pesticide products.
