This issue analyzes the pesticide formulations registered in China in 2013. According to the ICAMA, there were 2,940 such registrations. Comparing the year's registrations for pesticide technicals and pesticide formulations, two aspects stand out. Firstly, while herbicides have the most registrations for technicals, insecticides carry the majority of new formulations. And secondly, companies in Jiangsu Province avidly registered pesticide technicals, whereas their competitors in Shaanxi Province in central China were more enthusiastic in registering formulations. 

It is also worth noting that mixed formulations took up a large proportion by product number. 480 mixed formulations were approved in 2013, significantly more than the 277 single formulations also registered in the course of year.

This issue aims to enumerate the year's most registered compounds and most active enterprises.
