Crop Protection China Monthly Report

In Oct. 2013, the China Crop Protection Industry Association issued the highly anticipated 2013 China's Top 100 Pesticide Manufacturers List. Although this list only disclosed the ranking and pesticide revenues of these 100 eligible pesticide companies, it is still worth being analyzed by the comparison with the data on the previous lists released in 2011 and in 2012. In this way, the overall situation of the top 100 companies' pesticide revenues is displayed—which company has climbed up significantly, or suffered a large decline.

China's pesticide industry has been witnessing a rapid growth since 2011. Against the backdrop of prosperity of the pesticide industry, it is hardly surprising that most of the top 100 pesticide companies on the lists enjoyed their increasing revenues in these years. In the meantime, they are regarded as the state-of-the-art pesticide operators in China and almost all companies witnessed growth to varying degrees in these years. The main part in this issue refers to the details and related analysis concerning these ranking lists.
