CHS appoints new director of leadership communications
CHS Inc. has appointed Malissa Fritz as the company's director of issues management and leadership communications.
"We are excited to have Malissa joining the CHSEnterprise Marketing and Communications group. She has a strong track record of building proactive communication plans and strategies as well as a proven ability in working on issues communications with key stakeholders," said Linda Tank, CHS' senior vice president of communications and public affairs.
With more than 15 years of experience in corporate communications, Fritz joins CHS from Weber Shandwick (Minnesota, US), where she was a vice-president leading the Farm and Food Advocacy practice and working with key agricultural companies and food manufacturers.
Previously, Fritz was communications director for the Minnesota Board of Animal Health in St. Paul, public relations consultant for VistaComm in Sioux Falls, communications coordinator for the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, and a reporter for KSFY Television.
She holds a degree in agricultural journalism from the South Dakota State University.
