Lysine demand increases in China but prices stay soft

Even as feed millers increased procurements of late, lysine market remained weak amid abundant supplies. Additionally, with soymeal prices sliding, buyers were cautious and limited procurement volumes.

Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine were mainly in the range of RMB13.50-13.80/kg.

Lysine prices will likely stay around current levels with supplies ample amid prudent buying.
