Lysine market shows signs of stabilising in China
Lysine prices were mostly stable during the week ending August 14.
As several producers halted operation or limited production to ease inventory pressure, supplies of lysine reduced considerably, helping to stabilise sliding prices over the week.
Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine were in the range of RMB9.80-10.10/kg.
Year-on-year, prices of locally produced lysine are lower by 22%. With supplies tighter, producers will stand firm in the coming period.
