Slow sales hold China lysine prices flat
   
   
   
Lysine prices remained stable during the week ending October 30.
   
   
Trade was light in the lysine market as end users limited purchases while livestock prices stayed weak.
   
   
Price quotes of 65-percent lysine and 70-percent lysine were at RMB5.20-5.40/kg and RMB5.70-5.90/kg respectively.
   
   
Traditionally, livestock demand is slow during November. Sales of lysine are unlikely to improve significantly in the near term.
