Tight supply strengthens China lysine prices despite slow demand
Lysine prices moved higher during the week ending December 24.
With inventory pressure low, lysine producers gradually lifted prices. Nonetheless, trade was light as several buyers have secured ample supply.
Price quotes of 65-percent lysine and 70-percent lysine rose to the range of RMB4.30-4.60/kg and RMB4.70-4.90/kg respectively.
As lysine supply stay tight while producers limited output, prices are expected to remain firm.
