Minister Han Changfu met with Senzeni Zokwana, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of South Africa, in Xi'an on June 2, 2016.
Minister Han noted that China and South Africa enjoy sound basis for cooperation. China is looking forward to working with South Africa to advance the Africa agricultural modernization plan under the framework of the Johannesburg Summit of China-Africa Cooperation Forum, and create conditions for cooperation in the fields of agricultural S&T, capacity building, fisheries, animal husbandry, veterinary service, agricultural investment and trade, etc.
Senzeni Zokwana extended congratulations to China for reaching consensuses on the communiqué through coordination. He fully agreed with Minister Han and said that he was looking forward to promoting bilateral agricultural cooperation in an all-round way under the framework of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum.
