The First Promotion of High-Quality Fruits of China under the China-Eurasia Expo opens

The First Promotion of High-Quality Fruits of China under the China-Eurasia Expo was held from September 2nd to September 4th in Urumchi, Xinjiang. Vice Minister Niu Dun attended and addressed the Promotion.
During the event, the First China-Eurasia Seminar on Development and Cooperation in Fruit Industry and the First China High-quality Fruit Expo were held. Over 200 varieties under 10 categories of high-quality fruits and processed fruit products from dozens of domestic fruit enterprises were exhibited at the expo. At the same time business talks were also conducted. According to statistics, during the expo the total sum of cooperation intent between domestic fruit enterprises and purchasers from Eurasian countries signed letters of business intent worth a total of 280 million yuan. The promotion event set up a good international image of our high-quality fruits and will stimulate fruit trade between China and Eurasian countries.
Vice Governor of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Qian Zhi, Vice Commander of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Kong Xinglong, Vice Minister of Agriculture of Republic of Tajikistan Zevarshoev attended the promotion. Over 200 delegates from MOA, regional agricultural authorities and enterprises as well as over 60 overseas guests from Eurasian agricultural authorities and fruit enterprises took part in the promotion event.
