China Green Food Exposition Qingdao 2013 to be open in October

China Green Food Exposition Qingdao 2013 will be held in Shandong International Agricultural Product Demonstration & Trade Center from October 12 to 15.
It is a grand event jointly organized by China Green Food Development Center of MOA, Department of Agriculture of Shandong Province and the People''s Government of Qingdao Municipality of Shandong Province.
According to the schedule, a buyer-only trade talk will be convened in the morning of Oct.12, and from the afternoon of Oct. 12 to Oct. 15, the Expo will be open to all visitors.
As Wang Jianping, DDG of China Green Food Development Center introduced, the Expo 2013 has invited over 1,300 domestic leading enterprises in agricultural sector, with more than 3,000 exhibition items of brand products approved with Green Food Certificates, Organic Certificates or Geographical Indications.
Representatives from major agro-product wholesale markets, supermarket chains, as well as dozens of domestic and oversea buyers will attend the Expo, such as Carrefour, Wal-Mart, Metro, Tesco, Auchan, Lotus, Lotte Mart, JUSCO, Marubeni Corp, Mitsubishi Corp, AIC INC. of Japan, Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation, Liqun Group, RT-Mart, and so on.
Other business activities arranged by the Expo include buyer-seller meetings, agro-product promotions, on-site business communication and e-commerce fairs, etc.
