On November 18, on behalf of the parent company, CNPC Nile Company signed an agreement with China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation in Khartoum, to fund the organization carrying out poverty relief project in Sudan.
Chinese ambassador to Sudan Li Chengwen, CNPC Nile President Sun Xiansheng and Deputy Director-General of CNPC International Department Pei Ying were present at the signing ceremony. CNPC Nile Vice President Qin Anjiang and CFPA Secretary General Yang Qinghai signed at the agreement.
Under the agreement, CNPC Nile, in the name of CNPC, is to donate USD 600,000 to CFPA as CNPC's public welfare funds to Africa.
