In early May, a new technology for three-layer corrosion prevention coating developed by China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau was granted national invention patent (patent No. 200810172375.0), making China's pipeline anticorrosion technology peers with internationally advanced level.

This technological invention can enhance the integrity of the three layer construction, improve the anticorrosive coating adhesion and resistance to the cathode peeling performance of the three layer construction, save extruder equipment and reduce the cost of anticorrosive coating, as well as provide more effective techniques for the coating of bent pipe anticorrosion layer.
