On May 10, heavy hail and flood struck Minxian County of Dingxi City, Gansu Province, resulting in collapse or damage of residential constructions, and severe destruction of public services including health clinics and schools. In addition, communication and transportation went down at several places.

To guarantee the rescue and relief work, Dingxi Affiliate of CNPC Gansu Marketing Company immediately initiated flood-control emergency plan, and delivered 6 tons of diesel to the disaster area. Lanzhou Affiliate of CNPC Northwest Marketing Company opened up a green channel for oil products transportation, and instantly delivered 150 tons of 97# gasoline to meet the oil demand in Dingxi City and the surrounding areas.

In the near future, Northwest Marketing Company will strengthen cooperation with Gansu Marketing Company, tracking oil products inventory, opening the highway green channel 24 hours a day and meanwhile increasing railway transportation, to ensure oil supply in Gansu Province.
