The 2014 National Titanium Dioxide Annual Meeting is held on Nov 29 in Panzhihua, Sichuan Province.
Panzhihua is a prefecture-level city located in the far south of Sichuan Province, People''s Republic of China, on the confluence of the Jinsha and Yalong Rivers. Its economy relies almost entirely on its giant vanadium titano-magnetite mine which provides the most vital raw materials for titanium dioxide manufacturing.
Guo Xinrong, Secretary-general of National Coatings Industry Association Titanium Dioxide Branch host the meeting. Panzhihua's vice mayor Yu Huiwen and National Coatings Industry Association Secretary-general Yang Yuande made the opening speech.
Twenty manufacturers, raw material suppliers and technical experts of titanium dioxide industry addressed the meeting on topics of environmental protection policy analysis, introduction of latest industry standards and advanced production technology and equipment.
