Feng Hsin, one of the major steel long product makers in Taiwan announced to raise its prices by NT$300~500/ton for this week.
Stimulated by the sharp increase of international scrap and iron ore, Feng Hsin decided to hike its rebar and scrap prices by NT$300/ton respectively for this week. Besides, the company increased its section steel prices by NT$500/ton.
After the announcement, the company's latest prices for rebar are at NT$19,200/ton: those for scrap are at NT$11,800~NT$12,500/ton; and those for section steel are at NT$21,000~NT$21,200/ton.
