Japan’s HR stainless steel production up slightly in last November

According to statistics released by Japan's Ministry of Finance, Japan produced 214,081 tons of hot rolled (HR) stainless steel products in last November, decreasing by 10.8% from a month ago while rising by 1.7% year on year.

In the first 11 months of 2012, Japan's HR stainless steel production amounted to 2.6 million tons, decreasing by 4.8% year on year.

Meanwhile, the stocks of stainless steel products hold by the Japanese steel mills decreased by 6% from a month ago to 132,197 ton at the end of November.
