China Steel Corp. (CSC), the largest carbon steelmaker in Taiwan announced to raise the leeway prices for March.
The company decided to increase the prices for hot rolled leeway by NT$700/ton and to raise the prices for cold rolled and galvanized leeway by NT$800/ton.
It's known that CSC has hiked its leeway prices for consecutive three months, driven by increased prices of steel flat products. The total price rise reaches NT$1,850~NT$1,950/ton.
After the adjustment, the company's list prices for hot rolled leeway are at NT$17,050~NT$18,050/ton and those for cold rolled leeway come to NT$20,000~NT$20,500/ton.
