Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corp. (NSSMC) announced to leave its contract prices for H-beam unchanged for April.
Previously, NSSMC planned to raise its H-beam contract prices by a total of ￥10,000/ton in the first half of fiscal year 2013/14 (during April through September).
Supported by strong demand, the company decided to hike its H-beam prices ahead of the schedule. NSSMC increased its H-beam prices by ￥5,000/ton for March.
