According to statistics, Japan exported around 1.07 million tons of hot rolled coils (HRC) in March, rising by 6.9% from a month ago.
Meanwhile, the HRC export prices averaged at US$606.1/ton FOB, up by 3.6% month on month.
In March, the HRC exports to Korea totaled 6,751 tons with average prices of US$627.2/ton FOB; those to China were at 79,927 tons with US$594.9/ton FOB and those to Taiwan were at 48,836 tons with prices of US$514.6/ton FOB.
