Global nickel supply in surplus of 7,000 tons in Q1

According to report of World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS), the global nickel supply was in a surplus of 7,000 tons in the first quarter of this year.

In the first quarter of this year, global nickel mine output totaled 536,300 tons, rising by 121,000 tons from the same period of a year ago, according to WBMS.

Besides, the global apparent demand for nickel was at 37,000 tons in the first quarter of this year.
