Mexico's ministry of the economy has decided to set the annual quota to the flat imports from Costa Rica.
The products include flat products of iron or non-alloyed steel or coated.
It's known that this new policy had already been published early this week.
The total import volume is 2,500 tons per year and is valid for one year, expiring on July 30, 2014.
Though there is no flat steel mill in Costa Rica, but there's one flats re-roller, Metalco, who produces hot-dipped galvanized steel products.
