According to data released by France's Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, the country's export values generated by basic steel products and ferroalloy products totaled €4.8 billion in the first half of this year, falling by 11.1% in comparison of the figures in the same period of a year ago.
It's known that the steel and ferroalloys ranked the ninth among the most exported products of the country.
Besides, the country's export revenues generated by aerospace sector totaled €216 billion and those contributed by the motor vehicle sectors were at €11.86 billion.
In the first half of this year, France's export values of steel pipes and tubes were at €1 billion, decreasing by 3.45%; those of cold rolled steel strip were at €255 million, rising by 3.9%; those of cold drawn wires were at €194 million, falling by 8.1%; those of cold rolled steel bars were at €173 million, decreasing by 18.6% and those of metal structures and parts were at €278 million, declining by 17.6%, all compared to those in the same period of 2012.
