Brazil’s iron ore exports fall in Jan-Jul

Brazil's iron ore exports totaled 24.5 million tons in July, down by 3.5% year on year, according to data released by Brazil's National Union of the Industry of Extraction of Iron and Base Metals (Sinferbase).

In the first seven months of this year, the country's iron ore exports totaled 153 million tons, decreasing by 5.1% year on year.

In the given period of time, Vale's iron ore exports accounted for 90% of the country's total exports with 137.4 million tons, down by 5% year on year.
