Japan’s tinplate exports fall in July

According to data, Japan's tinplate exports totaled 48,218 tons in July, rising by 4.7% from a month ago but falling by 7.1% year on year.

The country's tinplate export prices averaged at US$1,059.8/to FOB in July, down by 0.9% from a month ago and decreasing by 6.6% year on year.

In July, Taiwan was the largest importer of the Japanese tinplate with 1,625 tons, slumping by 24.6% month on month; Korea was the second largest one with 385 tons.
