Tokyo Steel hikes scrap purchasing prices at Utsunomiya works

It's reported that Japan's Tokyo Steel announced to raise its scrap purchasing prices at its Utsunomiya works by ¥500/ton from October 24th.

After the adjustment, its H2 scrap prices averaged at ¥34,000~¥36,500/ton.

Among them, the scrap purchasing prices at Utsunomiya works are at ¥36,500/ton; those in Okayama works are at ¥35,000/ton~¥35,500/ton; those in Kyushu works are at ¥35,000~¥36,000/ton; those in Tahara works are at ¥34,500/ton; and those in Takamatsu steel center are at ¥34,000/ton.
