Finnish Outokumpu said it has won 700 tons order in India.

The company will supply 700 tons of high performance heat resistant grade of steel to Thermax Ltd for building a thermal power plant in India.

The company seeks to focus on selling premium grade steel to nuclear and thermal power projects in India.

The demand for stainless steel flat products in industrial segment in India is around 400,000 tons, according to the company.
