In January-May of current year, the Inner Mongolia's raw coal output reached 369.5 million t, rising by 98.99 million t or 36.6% year over year. While in May alone Inner Mongolia had produced 82.69 million t of the raw coal, increasing by 27.53 million t or 50% year over year.
On the other hand, the state-owned enterprises had produced 150.98 million t of the raw coal in January-May, rising by 24.24 million t or 19.12% year over year. While the local coal companies had contributed 218.52 million t of the raw coal, surging by 74.75 million t or 52% year over year.
Looking at the overall coal production regionally, In January-May of this year the west Inner Mongolia produced 251.45 million t, gaining 77.65 million t or 44.68% year over year. While the east Inner Mongolia produced 118.05 million t of the raw coal, rising by 21.34 million t or 22.06% year over year.
