China produced 102.467 million t of undressed iron ore in May

According to the data released by NBS, in January-May of this year, China's overall undressed iron ore output amounted to 450.216 million t, increasing by 20.7% compared to the same period of last year. While in May alone China's undressed iron ore production had reached 102.467 million t, rising by 16.8% year over year and also by 16.8% on a month-on-month comparison.

On the other hand, China had produced 36.644 million t of coke in May, surging by 4.61% from 35.029 million t in the prior month and by 11.9% from 33.529 million t in the previous year. Besides, China's year-to-date coke output had totaled 172.482 million t, jumping by 11.5% year over year.
