In June of current year, China had produced 3.751 million t of welded pipe，increasing by 15% year over year. And its year-to-date production totaled 17.5 million t, surging by 9.8% year over year. While in terms of the pipe imports and exports, China's welded pipe exports had amounted to 0.284 million t in June, up 1.07% month over month and 3.88% as compared to the corresponding period of last year. Meanwhile, China also had imported 18400 t of welded pipe in June, down 1.97% month on month and 6.87% year over year.
In the given month, China's overall silicon steel imports totaled 78400 t, declining by 10.19% month over month and by 9.36% year over year. At the same time, the oriented silicon steel imports had amounted to 31734 t, up 24.69% month over month and 6.67% year over year. Besides, China's non-oriented silicon steel imports stood at 46697 t, down 24.52% month over month and 17.72% year over year.
On the other hand, China's overall silicon steel exports reached 14900 t in June, down 14.37% month over month while rising by 7.19% year over year. Meanwhile, the oriented silicon steel exports came to 881 t, up 97.90% month over month and 2.38% year over year. In addition, the non-oriented silicon steel exports had amounted to 14079 t, down 16.92% month on month while jumping by 8.16% year over year.
In June, China's reinforcing steel bar production swelled by 22.3% year on year and reached 13.095 million t. In addition, China''s wire rod output stood at 10.65 million t in June, up 18.6% year over year.
Besides, China had produced 2.707 million t of coated steel plate in June, increasing by 23.3% year over year. And its year-to-date production totaled 15.279 million t, surging by 16.3% year over year. In terms of the imports and exports, China had imported 0.259 million t of the coated steel plate in June, declining by 12.2% month over month and by 33.3% year over year. And the overall coated steel plate exports hit 0.621 million t in June, dropping by 12.9% month over month and by 1.1% year over year.
Meanwhile, China also had produced 0.482 million t of pre-painted steel sheet in June，declining by 6% year over year. And its year-to-date production stood at 2.889 million t, up 17.2% year over year. In terms of the imports and exports, China's pre-painted steel sheet imports came to 37000 t in June, down 19.1% month over month while rising by 9.3% year over year. On the other hand, the pre-painted steel sheet exports in June reached 0.5 million t, down 1.3% month over month while swelling by 40.9% year over year.
