According to the data released by CISA (China Iron and Steel Association), Chinese registered steelmakers contributed a daily crude steel output of 1.5026 million metric tons in late November, rising by 1.25% or 18.6 thousand tons from middle November. Meanwhile, Chinese average daily crude steel output was estimated to stand at 1.6852 million metric tons in late November, up by 1.29% or 21.5 thousand tons versus middle November.
Experts said that the domestic steelmakers have resumed their production gradually since late October owing to the recent price drops for iron ore. Meanwhile, during the low season, the final customers' demands are still weak on aggregate. Thereby, the crude steel output is still hovering around comparatively low levels.
