Wisco postpones steel mill plan in Brazil

Reuters reported that Wuhan Iron and Steel Corp. (Wisco) has postponed its plan to build a steel mill in Brazil after the negotiations for infrastructures ruptures.

Deng Qilin, the chief executive of Wisco said that its Brazilian partners did not provide necessary conditions required including railways and port terminals to invest.

It's learned that Wisco's Brazlian partners, LLX Logistica SA said that the steel project at the Port of Açu was now pending and the two parties did not meet for months.
