The Chinese steel giant Baosteel currently informed its customer that it will raise the steel plate prices by RMB50~RMB100/ton for next January, driven by increased steel prices in Chinese domestic market.
According to statistics released by China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), the steel prices averaged at RMB3, 790/ton in the Chinese domestic market in the fourth week of November, rising by RMB18/ton from a week ago.
