Taiwan’s basic metal export orders continue to rise in Nov

According to the statistics released by the Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs, in November this year Taiwan's basic metal and basic metal product export orders amounted to $2.5 billion, increasing by 2.8 percent compared to the previous month and down 1.2 percent compared to November 2011. The country's basic metal and basic metal product export orders rose by 5.8 percent and 3.9 percent in October and September respectively, both on month-on-month basis.

The country's basic metal and basic metal product export orders in the first 11 months of the current year amounted to a value of $26.2 billion, falling by seven percent compared to the same period of 2011.
