China Steel Corp. (CSC), the largest carbon steelmaker in Taiwan planned to pour NT$2.27 billion to revamp the electrical control system at its No. 2 hot strip mill in southern Taiwan from January, 2013 through December, 2017.
CSC stated that the revamp at its No.2 hot strip mill will help to decrease the risk of production suspension, to develop new product and to reduce the carbon dioxide emissions.
Meanwhile, CSC stressed that the revamp will not affect the output of its hot trolled products.
