CISA: China’s daily crude steel output up 0.9 percent in mid-Feb

The China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) has stated that in mid-February (Feb. 11-20) this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China totaled 1.719 million mt, up 1.01 percent compared to early February (Feb. 1-10). In mid-February, the average aggregate daily crude steel production of all steelmakers in China was estimated at 2.006 million mt, indicating a rise of 0.9 percent compared with early February.   According to the CISA's previous figures, in early February (Feb. 1-10) this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China amounted to 1.7014 million mt, up 6.1 percent compared to late January (Jan. 21-31) this year. In early February, the average aggregate daily crude steel production of all steelmakers in China was estimated at 1.9889 million mt, indicating an increase of 4.4 percent compared with late January.
