China’s daily crude steel output hit new history highs in February

According to statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), China's crude steel output totaled 61.83 million tons in February.

In February, the country's daily crude steel output averaged at 2.208 million tons, rising by 7.6% from a month ago and increasing by 9.8% year on year.

Also, China's daily crude steel production hit new history highs in 2012, making the Asian steelmakers face pressure of oversupply.
