According to data released by China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), the stocks of main finished steel products, including hot rolled coils, cold rolled coils, plates, rebar and wire rods in the major Chinese steel market amounted to 20.236 million tons as of April 26th, decreasing by 607,000 tons from a week ago.
Meanwhile, the stocks have declined for consecutive six weeks.
Among them, the inventories of wire rods dropped by 119,000 tons; those of hot rolled coils decreased by 10,000 tons and those of cold rolled coils dipped by 30,000 tons, all compared to those in a week ago.
