Major Chinese steelmaker Baosteel has held a meeting with Chinese power generation and electric equipment manufacturer Shanghai Electric Group focused on continuing the strategic cooperation between the two sides.
Shanghai Electric Group has seven listed subsidiaries, mainly operating in the fields of thermal power, nuclear power, elevator manufacture, electrical equipment manufacture, and production of power transmission and distribution (PTD) equipment. In 2012, Baosteel supplied over 300,000 mt of various high grade steel products to Shanghai Electric Group, including steel pipe, silicon steel, steel plate and special steel products.
