The China Association of Metal Scrap Utilization has awarded the qualification of "iron and steel scrap processing and distribution center" to Lanzhou, Gansu Province-based Chinese scrap company Lianfeng Metal Scrap Co.Accordingly, Lianfeng Metal Scrap Co. has become the first company in northwestern China to be designated as a scrap processing and distribution center by CAMU.The metal recycling rate of the company in question has reached 95 percent. The establishment of scrap processing and distribution centers by CAMU is aimed at boosting industrialization and commercialization in the Chinese scrap sector.
