According to data released by the Hebei Metallurgical Industry Association, Chinese Hebei Province exported 7.2203 million tons of finished steel products in the first half of this year.
In the given period of time, Hebei Province's imports of finished steel products totaled 140,800 tons, jumping by 36.47% year on year.
Meanwhile, the major steelmakers in Hebei Provinces, including Hebei Iron and Steel Co. and Tangshan Iron and Steel Co. all posted a rise in finished steel exports in the first half of this year.
